Student of the Year - Beauty and Complementary Therapy

The judges are looking for specific examples and supporting evidence that proves claims made in entries. Small Independent Training Provider of the Year

The judges are looking for specific examples and supporting evidence that proves claims made in entries. Entries will be scored equally by student support, positive impact on the community and/or industry and student attainment. Below are ways that judges will be looking to score entries however, this list isn’t exhaustive. If you have other ways to prove criteria these will also be considered.

Student Support

  • The Training Provider provides comprehensive and innovative student support services
  • Services are effectively tailored for the diverse needs of students

Positive impact on the community and/or industry

  • The Training Provider has demonstrated leadership in community or industry initiatives
  • The Training Provider has made significant contributions to the local community/industry, and has had a sustained and meaningful impact.

Student Attainment

  • The Training Provider has consistently high student attainment or has shown significantly improved student attainment
  • The Training Provider has a range of highly innovative and effective teaching and learning practices

Recognises training providers with more than 20 students, who have gone over and above to help their students. This could include initiatives to support students, introducing programmes or processes to support student outcomes, or increasing additional support to ensure success.

Large Independent Training Provider of the Year

The judges are looking for specific examples and supporting evidence that proves claims made in entries. Entries will be scored equally by student support, positive impact on the community and/or industry and student attainment. Recognises tutors or educators who have gone over and above to support their students. This could be anything from supporting a student facing difficult circumstances to ensure they can continue with their studies and achieve, helping their students to overcome obstacles to flourish and surpass expectations, or delivering innovative and high-quality teaching that resonates.

Educator of the Year
